ANTI-DOPING CARRIED OUT AFTER THE COMPETITION
At the end of the single category, the athletes who have been indicated by the commission are required to present themselves for the ANTI-DOPING TEST. The anti-doping (urine sampling) will be carried out by a representative of the federation. The withdrawal of n. 2 urine samples (according to the type of analysis requested) in order to allow a double check in case of disputes. The sealed test tubes will be closed in a sterile container and sent to the laboratory appointed by the federation. The athlete must carry out the sampling in the appropriate rooms in the presence of the personnel in charge who will be authorized to check both the athlete and the premises for any danger of alteration of the organic liquid. All the substances included in the official IOC list will be searched for in the samples taken during the test, therefore all possible molecules are referred to each update of this list. If the athlete makes therapeutic use of any drug included in the list, he must contact the federation in advance to establish whether or not it is appropriate for him to participate in the competition or whether a declaration from his specialist doctor is sufficient. The athlete called for the test must remain available for collection until the end of the event.
